Director | The Swoboda Research Centre

Nick Money is a co-founder and a Director at Swoboda Research Centre, the organisation dedicated to research for credit unions in Ireland and Great Britain. Nick runs the business side of Swoboda, including Swoboda’s two annual conferences, as well as undertaking research and managing research projects. Alongside this, he is a PHD student at University College Cork, where he is investigating credit union business models. Nick is also a consultancy project supervisor for students on the MBA programme at the Alliance Manchester Business School.

Prior to Swoboda, for several years Nick was an independent management consultant to co-operative and not-for-profit enterprises, specialising in advising executives and boards on governance, strategy and business development. He spent several years in a variety of head of function and managerial roles at The Co-operative Bank plc.

Nick is a former Director and honorary Life President at Co-operative Credit Union and current Director of South Manchester Credit Union.
